 25N INTERNATIONAL DAY FOR THE ELIMINATION OF VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN

            Another future without violence against women is possible with education, essential services across policing, justice, health, and social sectors, and sufficient financing dedicated to women’s rights.

This year, our students in the 3rd and 4th year have been working on this issue through the analysis of song lyrics and the elaboration of posters with a shocking motto or rhyme. As a starting point, students have read the definition of violence according to the Declaration on the Elimination of Violence Against Women issued by the Un General Assembly in 1993: 

Violence against women: "any act of gender-based violence that results in, or is likely to result in, physical, sexual or psychological harm or suffering to women, including threats of such acts, coercion or arbitrary deprivation of liberty, whether occuring in public or in private life."

After the reflection on the concept of gender-based violence, students in the 4th year made some rhymes to widespread the mesage. Here are some examples:
